We had a beautiful day on the golf course for our 4th Annual Pars for Prostate event presented by Initio at Green Tee Westwood Plateau Golf course.

Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada is proud to present our fourth annual golf tournament. This project idea was brought to us by James Milacic whose father was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer 6 years ago. Join us during Prostate Cancer Awareness month for our golf tournament.
Why
One in eight Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. On average 66 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every day and 12 men lose their life to this disease daily.
Who
Every level of golf player is welcome at the Pars for Prostate tournament. In order to facilitate a smooth running tournament we are running this event with a Texas Scramble format with a shotgun start.
Where does the money go?
Our aim is to ensure that the thousands of men living with prostate cancer, their families, and loved ones can access quality support services no matter where in Canada they reside. This means that our funding goes to provide FREE resources, educational materials, and support across the country - including to over 60 support groups nationwide.
PCFC has also funded over 92 prostate cancer specific research grants in BC.
